birthdaytino

It was my birthday on Tuesday- I had work all day and class, so Ted and I went to dinner at Amada on Thursday. That was after Happy Hour with newest addition Julie from my other class. We had margaritas that were pretty good, but not as good as Poncho Villa. Sometimes I miss that place, but then I remember the cold. Speaking of which, today was like 45 degrees or something, and it was awesome!

I won $5 during the Superbowl, but lost it immediately afterwards.

I'm so tired!!!!!!!!

INAUGURATINO

We went to the inauguration, and it was awesome. I haven't uploaded my photos anywhere, but when I do I will tell you where. My birthday was the other day, it was okay. I had work all day and class all night, and boy I am excited for tonight. I made a new friend, Julie, and she is coming to our Thursday night happy hour. Yes. I don't know where we are going yet. Any suggestions? West Philly preferably.

Yesterday I took the UPenn van home for the first time, and the driver was making a lot of noises and I almost asked if she should take a break. She sounded like she was about to pass out. Moaning and breathing heavily. It was bad. And I talked to the security guard who followed me home last week (last Wednesday a Penn security guard sort of forced himself on me to escort me home. I wasn't happy about it and felt it was unecessary because someone else out there probably actually wanted an escort). One of the reasons I waited for the van and just went home alone.

DANG

It's my boss's birthday so at lunch I bought some flowers and when I came back I was arranging them. Then the fire alarm when off. I threw down my scissors and ran outside. A minute later she was outside too, and there were some girls around without jackets. So she asked if I had anything to give them to keep warm. My office, the very first room inside the building had my sweater. So she ran inside and came out with my sweater and a scarf. Then I realized she probably saw flowers and the card, and probably realized that I'm giving her flowers for her birthday. So much for the probably surprise. DANG.
